Why engage an architect?
Architects are creative, trained to interpret your brief and look beyond your immediate requirements. If involved at the early stage, they gain opportunities to develop creative solutions.
Architects can manage your project from inception to completion. They can create total environments, interior and exterior, which are both pleasing and functional for the occupants.
An architect can co-ordinate specialist consultants such as landscape architects, engineers, quantity surveyors & interior designers.

What is an architect?
The title 'Architect' is legally protected and reserved for designers who have completed an approved course of qualification typically of 7 years and are registered with the Architects Registration Board under the Architects Act 1997.
Many architects also become members of the Royal Institute of British Architects and further entitled to the use of the term Chartered. As such they are required to carry indemnity insurance, adhere to a code of professional conduct and undertake regular sessions of Continuing Professional Development.
